About NML

Neuro Medico Legal Physiotherapy & Hydrotherapy (NML) provides physiotherapy expert witness reports for the court.

 Comprising three clinical specialist neurological physiotherapists, each with extensive experience in treating clients with a wide variety of neurological problems including acquired brain injury, complex spinal injury, paediatric neurological conditions, and complex presentations. 

All of our experts are members of the following professional bodies:

Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)

Health Professions Council (HPC)

Medico Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP)

Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN)

NML prepares reports in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR Part 35) and Practice Directions (PD 35). Once instructed NML assess the client either in their own community setting or at our wheelchair accessible clinic in South Manchester, whichever is more suitable. 

The medico legal report will be produced within four weeks of assessment. NML provide robust and detailed reports, including photographs and a video of the client to enable clarity in identification of difficulties if appropriate.
